[From Ova Correspondent.] . DUNEDIN, January 29. - Mr R. S. Smythe has agreed to give oniehalf of the gross takings of the first night's ' lecture by the Rev J. Elwyn Ewen, of Melbourne, to the Veterans' Home Fund. * The Government is being urged to acquirethe Galloway/Flats, in Central Otago, for close -settlement.
