THIS DAY. fPEB the " Stak'S " Pigeon Express.] There was a good yarding of stock at the Addington Saleyards to-day and a large attendance of buyers. ' Fat Cattle.— / There was a large yarding, the total entry numbering 238, which included a fair proportion of steers and some particularly tiseful heifers. The sale opened poorly, and the first two lots were passed unsold, but after this bidding; improved; but, throughout, the. sale was irregular. As a whole, previous values were maintained. Steers realised from £7 to £11, heifers £6 15s tx> £10 2s 6d, cows £5 l©s to £9 2s 6d and for one extra good £11 2s 6d. P IGS . — There was a fair yarding of fat pigs, but the sale was a dragging one, and prices showed a further decline on those obtaining a few weeks ago. Baconers realised from 47s 6d t0. 575, equal to 4d per lb ; porkers 32s 6d to 42s 6d, equal to 4£d per lb. Stores were also dull of eaie, prices being:— Large stores 18s! to 265, slips 10s .to 18s, weaners 5s to 10s.
