THE MINISTER OF RAILWAYS.

Sir Joseph Ward returned from the south by the express last evening. This morning he went out to Lincoln^College to see his son, who Ts now recovering rapidly fromvthe effects of his accident. At Lincoln, a deputation, introduced by Mr, C. .Lewis, M.H.R., waited upon the Minister in reference to some alterations required at the local railway station. He promised; that he. wouldhave an overhead passenger bridge built, andi would obtain a report on the question of further accommodation in the goods shed. Sir Joseph will leave for Wellington by this afternoon's, steamer.
