"DIl BILL." Miss Filzmauriod Gill's Company made an entirely new departure last night, ■when, ike dismal season, of nu-lodiama gavo place to farcical comedy. The play staged waa that popular old favourite- "Dr Bill," und the presentation wa,7 a, good, hrc^zj', vigorous one, much lihe best performance) for which, the. compamy has 'so far been responsible. Tlie caJ't all round Ava,s excellent. Miss- Gill, a.s Mrs Horton, and Mi- Blulce, in tho title role, ■wore nicely cast. Mr Gus "N>.vil.le's Mr Firman was admirable, and ■Mr de Chateau at last found Jus part and gave a really capable clin.racter sketch a/s (loorgo "VVebstor. Mr Wilton Power, and
Misses Mylrea, Ksdaile, Cooper and Hobsrts all lent excellent) support, and the comedy was played brifkly and well. Tonioht there wiLl 'be a return to melodrama., when tho play "Nancy and Her Saiilor" will h? produced, and the season will close on Friday with a. revival of " East Lynne," which; will be played by special request.
