(Received April 11, 8 a.m.) LONDON, April 10 The Bank of England returns show the airount of gold coin and bullion to be £32,257,000, the reserve £22,840,000, the proportion of reserve to liabilities 48.12 per cent, notes in circulation £27,572,000, public deposits £7,852,000, other deposits £39,453,000, Government securities £14,510,000, other securities £27,802,000. Three months' bills are discounted at _i per cent. Con-sols are quoted at 91J. New South Wales 4 per cent inscribed stock is quoted' at 108^ three and a half pe/ cent 99| ; Victorian four per cent 105f, three and a half per cent 99,, three per cent 90i. Other colonial stocks are unaltered. .Copper— On Spot £61. 17s 6d per ton; three months' £62 per ton. Tin — On spot andi three months', each £136 per ton. Sugar — First marks granulated 1 9s 6d per cwt ; German 8s 3d per cwt. Manitoban wheat is quoted- at 3s 9d per bushel, Argentine 27s 3d per quarter, freight 16s 9d. The Bradford wool market is strong and there is a better demand in most directions ; sixties 24£d. Butter is quiet ; New Zealand new 100s to 102s per cent. Cheese is unchanged. Frozen Meat. — Mutton is unchanged. Lamb, Canterbury, light 5 7 -16d, heavy s|d, Dunedin and Southland 5,d t North Island s£d. New Zealand beef is nominal. Forequarters 3|d, hindquarters 4sd. River Plate beef, forequarters 3sd, hindquarters 4_d.
