MYSTERIOUS OUTRAGE.
TWO MEN THROWN OUT OF A TRAIN IN A TUNNEL. The Chambery (Savoie) correspondent of the 1 " Petit Parisien " forwards a report of a mysterious outrage wihich is reported- to have taken place in an express train while in the Mont Cenis Tunnel. Dr Michaud- and his brother were returning to Modane, and the train, haid hardly entered the tunnel when a quarrel broke out between them and the attendants, and, according ti> the version of several passengers, the Italian employees of the dining-car and another employee rushed upon thß brothers, struck them violently on the head, and then threw them, one after the other, out on the line. When the train stopped '. shortly afterwards Dr Michaud was found in an unconscious state with several deep wounds in his head. He only regained consciousness three hours later. His brother was also badly injured. The gendarmerie of Fourneaux arrested the maitre d'hotel and three other employees j of the dining car. I
