WHERE WOMEN ARE NEEDED.
AN INVITATION TO BRITISH GIRLS. Some time ago an article appeared in tho "Daily Mail" relating to the need for women in South Africa. "I am very confident," says Mr Edgar Wallace, " that this is South Africa's most serious requirement. Now that the British Government, through the Immigration Association, is taking steps to facilitate tho passages for women to the Cape, little remain's to be done by the public beyond finding situations for those ladies Who come out. " With this in view, I have, on behalf of tho proprietors of the ' Rand Daily Mail,' to make the following offer : — I will insert free of all charge in the paper, advertisements of any woman desirous of settling in South Africa provided they are inhabitants of tho British Isles. The advertisement must? set forth th« advertiser's requirements, salary, age, qualifications and whether or not sfae can 'afford to pay her passage or part of her passage. Applications to be posted directly to the, 'Rand Daily Mail,' Johannesburg, Transvaal, and 'marked 'Women. 1 "
