. . [Feom Our Cobbespondent.] WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. MISCELLANEOUS. For the first Monday sitting a; number of minor Bilk in committee will be tihe work provided. These include the New Zealand University Act and the Cook and Other Islands Government Amendment Bills. The Publio Works Statement will be brought down to-morrow night. The prevailing opinion is that the amended Land Bill -will be included in the slaughter of the innocents, and it is doubtful whether the Shipping and Seamen?s Bill will find its way into the Statute Book. " A caucus of the Liberal Party ihas been summoned for eleven o'clock to-morrow morning for tihe first slaughter of tike innocents.
