FIRES.
News has reached* Aehburfcon that a fire occurred at the farmstead of Mr George* HaJrison, Anama, Mayfield, early on Saturday morning, whereby a large building 60ft long, comprising a stable, a chaff-house aiid a gftunary, was totally destroyed, together with all the contents and five horses and one d<xg. The bailding wais insured in the North British Office for £60, but the contents were hot insured. Mr Harrison estimates 'his loss at £500* There is no clue to the origin of the fire.
