A QUEEN'S FUNERAL.
AN IMPOSING} CEREMONY. [Pek Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 31. The funeral of ;the late Queen of Tonga) was a most imposing ceremony. The coffin was carried to the grave under a. canopy held by $me hundred Native?. The King, j clad ia Royal robes, followed, «nd also the < British Consul, Mr Hunter, and! the Prime Minister, Sartae. The route was lined by the College students, and the service was read by Native priests. The attendance of. the Natives was small owing tf> tfhe un-' popularity of the King's choice of a wife amongst a section of the community. '
