Drunkenness. — For this offence, a first offender was fined 55.-^Annie Fraser, for being drunk on the Oxford Terrace, yesterday, was fined 10s, in default fortyteight hours' imprisonmentTiriiFT of Meat.— William Brydon and | William R. Heenan were charged with stealing some' pork from" Mr F. H. j Steele's butcher's shop, in Oolombo Street. i The meat was' valued at 15s. Both accused pleaded not guilty, and Mr Donnelly appeared for them. After hearing evidence by two employees and Mr Steele, tlie accused were each fined 605,, in default one month's imprisonment. Rower, claim £1 4s 6d; Walter "A. Robson (Mr Kippenberger) v. Harry Hate, £9 15s 8d ; Gott Bros. (Mr Murphy) v. W. B. Craighead, 521 19s ; Mrs Pope (Mr. Mills) v. George G. Davidson, £7 2s. ! A Wedding Photograph. — Harry Thompson (Mr Malley) claimed from P. Campbell the sum of 255, being for fifteen photographs delivered and OS cabihire incurred by the plaintiff in journeying to take the pictures. The plaintiff said that he contracted to take photographs of the defendant's wedding, held on Labour Day; and delivered fifteen photographs, which he priced at £1. The defendant stated that he had ordered two dozsn pictures, and would not pay till they' were delivered. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the «urn of £1 and costs. Mr Oassidy appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Malley for the defendant. The plaintiff stated that- at the end of January the defendant hired a horse and trap from him to pfo to the Selwyn.
