QUESTION OF THE COMMANDER. [From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, Jan. 7. From what I can learn tihere is absolutely no foundation for the rumour current in Wellington that Colonel Robin will be given the command of the Eighth Contingent. 1 Certainly so far as the officer whose name is mentioned the report is a case of J going from home for news.
