Muirhead, who is now in England, has cabled out his acceptance of his invitation to the pastoral of the church at Invercargill. Inspector Pender, who will retire on April 1, has been in the New Zealand Police Force for within three months of forty years. Mr F. Rogen, the well-known authority on poultry, is in ChristcfhurcJi.
