NAPIER, July 18.

The body, of the man found in the water near 'Clive has been, identified as that ol John Prior, who had been working for a contractor in the district. The deceased as a man of weak intellect, and had been roaming about the country for the last few weeks. It is not known whether he had any relations in' the' colony. 'It is conjectured that the man, may have got off the roadi .which, after heavy rain, is/ sometimes submerged at- this part, and be/n. drowned. ; NAPIER, July 19.-
