NOTICE is hereby given that a Specif Meeting of the Mayor', Councillors ana Burgesses of the Borough of Lyttelton, com-; monly known as the Lyttelton Borough Coun-v' cil, will be held at the Council Chambers oii MONDAY, March 18, 1901, at 7.30 p.m., fo^ the purpose oi confirming the following resolution passed as a Special Order at sv-. special meeting held on Wednesday, February, 13, 1901:— . ; "'That for the .purpose o: providing for me annual charge on a lean of £10,000 at 3i per cent par annum, for a period of 41 years; authorised by the Burgesses of the Borough of Lyttelton, to be raised by the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the said Borough for the purpose of construction of Waterworks Extension, the Coascil of the said Corporation do, by Special Order, make and levy a • Special Rata of Threepence in the Pound on all the rateable value of the rateable property within the Borough of Lyttelton, as appearing on the Valuation Roil for th<j t ! ine being in force; th'o said Special Rate to ho a continuing rate for a term of 41 years, such term being the currency of the said loan. That the said Special Rate of Threepence in the Pound shall be payable in equal. half-yearly instalments „ ' on the 30th days of May and November • in each and every year during thp currency of the said loan.
