LAWN TENNIS.
The annual meeting of the Oxford Lawn Tennis Club was held in the, library on Wednesday evening. Mr John Ingram occupied the chair. Tlie balancs-sheet showed a credit balance of £5. The opening.day was fixed for Saturday, Sept. 30. The following officers -were elected for the ensuing year : — President, Mr John Ingrain ; vice-president, Rev Ginger ; captain, Dr Volckman ; vicecaptain, Mr S. Weld; honorary secretary and •treasurer, Mr L. 0. Ingram ; committee, Mrs A. Prichard, Misses Prichard, Buchanan and Parish, Messrs R. Handerson, H. Thompson, A. Prichard and officers ex officio. '
