ENTERTAINMENTS.
In spite of the wet weather last evening, Mrs Harrison Lee, the "No License '* advocate, attracted a large audience to the Rangiora Institute Hall. The Rev A. "Doull, en bifcalf of the Kaiapoi Electorate No Lic'eiuie League, and the churches,' welcomed Mrs Lee to the district. The lady, after suitably acknowledging '■the welcomo, gave an address, in the course of which s'iwv dealt very ably with the economics of the drink question. The Mayor (Mr E. R. Good) presided. At the close of the meeting a number took the pledge.
