A REMARKABLE GIFT.

The Agent-General of Vitadatio, Mr S. A. Palmer, has just initiated a most remarkable departure. The works of Charles M. Sheldon have sprung into prominence, and are attracting the attention of the entire English speaking races of the world, and probably others. Mr Palmer, in his generosity, has, arranged with the publishers for quarter million copies of this most ' noted author's works, and will send to any address in the colonies, a copy, on receipt of twopence in stamps, or the five copies on. receipt of sixpence in stamps, which will only cover postage, packing, etc. Vitadatio's aim is not only. to cure the people of dis. eases, but also to instruct and lead their minds to the nobler aspirations. The list of books is as follows :—" In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do?" "The Crucifixinon of Philip Strong," " His Brother's Keeper," "Malcolm Kirk," "Richard Hardy's Seven Days." Mr Palmer is certainly going out of his usual way to reach the people, and practical philanthropy speaks for itself. At any rate, he is to be commended. Letters marked " Sheldon," care of Vitadatio, Melbourne. 736
