Mr W. H. Montgomery addressed his constituents at Tai Tapu on 'tutsu^y cve-ning. There was a moderate attendance, and Mill. Macartney, the JhairiKaii of the School Committee, occupied the chair. The address was mainly on. Uie lines of that at Little River, and at the cK-.sc a number of <|urstions were answered. On the mc-tion of Mr T. Leathern, seconded by Mr J. Mangels, Mr Montgomery was unanimously aeiordecl a. hearty vote of thicls ,'irnl conijJciice.
