ATHLETICS.

. The annual meeting of the Christchurch Hardware Club was held on Tuesday evening, The President of the club, Mr W. Heece, was in tho chair. The annual report showed that the number of members was ninety-eight. It was decided to hold ! a picnic this year instead of the annual • sports meeting, and to withdraw from the i New Zealand Amateur Athletic Associa- ■ tion.
