The band contests in connection •with the .nnmuil gala of the Melbpurne Druids tonic place on Easter Monday. For the drill contest eight bands competed. Points were awarded for general appearance, dressing, correct intervals, cleanliness of instruments and accoutrements, wheeling and time in marching.
