The New Zealand branch has been m existence for the last eighteen years, and has made wonderful strides during that time. Last year over a quarter of a million, of new business was, placed on the books, being a, record year for the branch, which now covers risks to the value of £1,463,712 12s 9d. The New Zealand income is nearly £562,000 per annum, and over £267,000 has been invested on securities in the colony, one pleasing feature of the. office being that no money is sent out of the colony for investment.
