THE ERNEST TOY CONCERTS. The members of the Ernest Toy ConcertCompany gave another of their enjoyable concerts at the Choral Hall last eveningbefore a large audience. Mr Toy's violin solos included L. Eller's " Steyrische Weisen," and for an encore the intermezzo ! from " Cavalleria Rusticaca " (Mascagni), I the andante from Mendelssohn's " Con- ■ certo," a berceuse by Tolhurst and a ] " Saltarella " by, Papini, for both of which lie declined encores. With Miss Renee Lees he played Mozart's "No. 3 Sonata" for violin and piano. Miss Lees's numbers were Chopin's "Scherzo No. 1, Op. 20," and in response to an encore Greig's "Am Feukling," and Raff's " Cachouca," bowing her acknowledgments to an encore. She also took part in the duet with Mr Toy, besides accompanying' him sympathetically in his other numbers. Miss Alice Simmons sang Sidney Hoben's "Aye Maria," repeating the last verse for an encore, Millard's " Waiting," with St George's " Serenade Neapolitaine " for an encore, and Florence Fare's " Moraska." Miss Dalrymple sang Molloy's " Home, Dearie, Home," with " The Banks of Allan Water " as an encore, and Tosti's " Venetian ■ S >ng," repeating the last verse. Mr Jago's numbers were "HereUpon My Vessel's Deck" (Weiss), and for an encore Somersot'B "By a Southern Sea," and "The Bedouin Love Song " (Pinsuti). Miss C. Lingard accompanied the vocalists efficiently throughout. At three o'clock this afternoon the company will give a students' matinee, and in the evening it will take its farewell, when a popular programme will be given at reduced prices. Mr Toy will play selections from various operas, and Miss Renee Lees will play selections from "Faust" and " Lucia di Lammermoor."
