[Pek Peess Association.] NELSON, Sept. 26. At a meeting of the College Governors today, Mr W. S. Littlejohn, M.A., was appointed principal. There were fifty-seven applications, including gentlemen residing in New Zealand, Australia, England and elsewhere. At the District Court to-day, Judge Robin- , son sustained a.n appeal against the decision of the Magistrate who gave judgment in favour of Millard and Satherley for £70 damages against Dodgshun, ' storekeeper, who sold them onion seed, which plaintiffs alleged was not true Spanish. The Judge held that the seed was merchantable, and the seller could not be expected to guarantee the crop. . •■■..-••-
