Thomas Plats, formerly of G.'enorcby," was killed by.s. gun exploding while he was getting through a wire fence in the Queenstown Glorge. He was to have been married this morning. At Southbrook yesterday morning a spring cart, driven by a Iky named Newbury, came into collision with a draught horse tied to the back of a dray. One of the shafts of the cart entered the animal's side and inflicted injuries from which it died in a very short time. The horse belonged to M* J- Martyn, and was valued at JEJIS.
