THE CANTERBURY TEAM.
WELLINGTON, July 31. The Canterbury football team arrived by the Rotomahana this morning. They sail to-night, by the Rotoiti, for Nelsen, where - they play to-morrow, going en to Taranaki in the evening.
DUNEDIN, July 30. Rain, sleet and snow put a stop to football this afternoon.
The Canterbury Rugby Union competitions were continued on Saturday in bitterly cold weather, heavy showers of rain falling during the afternoon.
