Later news from the New Hebrides shows that Dr Lamb's mission buildings escaped serious damage "from the recent hurricane. The engines have bnen recovered from the wrecked launch Ethel, but the hull is smashed up. Dr Lamb sails for the group on Friday. AN ASSETS COMPANY. MELBOURNE, March 23. The Supreme Court has sanctioned the formation of an Assets Company to take over the unliquidated assets of the Federal Bank and three other Melbourne financial institutions. Received March 24, 9.50 a.m. PROSECUTION DECLINED. SYDNEY, March 24. The Attorney-General declined to file a bill against Norton, charged with indecent assault.
