MIDLAND YARDS.
.The entries at the usual-^weekly sale at ; the Midland Yards .yesterday consisted of about 2500 sheep, . most of, ! wh^eh. were,! stores, including some-nice lines of forward-! wethers, and there were about 300 fat' lambs on offer. The demand for freezing iambs was not quite so good, but for-, ward stores met a fair demand. Best fat jambs brought from. 10s 3d to 10s lld, a line of 112 going at the latter figure; medium sorts 8s 4d to 9s 9d, forward stores 7s to Bs, good forward cross-bred wethers, 10s 2d, fairly good .do 8s 4d tp ,8s Bd, light twp-tpoths 7s to <7s 3d, fat cross-bred ewec. ss.,j^d r fat merino wethers 6s lOd, ;fuU-mout}ii.' 7^yos^-..bred.-. breeding ewes 4s 4d to 4s 9d, .wo-too'th do 6s,crossbred boilers 2s Gd to 2s lld, merino do Is tO IS 4-.. .:). As the sale at these yards has been found to clash with those at Bangiora, Sheffield, and _A_s_btirfcon» -lie directors have decided to alter the day in future to Thursday^ and. the next sale wilj .be held on March 31, and weekly sales will be the rule thereafter.
