THE AMERICAN FLEET. Unitea Press Association— By Electric Telegraph— Copyright. Beceived March 21, 10 a.m. WASHINGTON, March 20. The House of Representatives adopted Mr Dingley's resolution remitting the duties on war material. The resolution was suggested by Mr Alger, Secretary of State for War, and Mr Long, Secretary of the Navy. The Government has distributed the fleet which assembled at Key West. Two warships have been ordered to the Southampton Roads Naval station in Virginia. This is believed to be the first step towards the formation of a North Atlantic squadron.
