LYTTELTON.
Monday, March 21. (Before Mr A. Chalmers, J.P., and Mr S. R. Webb, J.P.) Breach op the Peace.—C. A. Bryant and James Webb were charged with fighting. The former was fined 10s and costs, Webb being convicted and discharged. Throwing Stones.—George Campbell, eight years of age, was charged with this offence. Having been duly punished by his parents he was discharged. Cruelty to a Horse.—G. Dimond as owner and Thomas Wishaw as driver were charged with working a horse with a sore back. Wishaw was fined 10s and costs, the case against Dimond being dismissed.
