THE FAR NORTH.
Mr E. Tregear, a member of the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into the condition of the Auckland gnmfields, has returned to Wellington. The members of the Commission had a very rough time of it while in the far North, the weather being intensely cold, the accommodation of the worst possible kind, and the insects of various species extremely troublesome.
