JUBILEE THANKSGIVING.
j The Mayor of Dunedin, Mr E. B. Cargill, concludes an address he has issued to the citizens with the following words : — At the meeting of citizens held in the Town Hall on Dec. 15 it was resolved that the early part of the Jubilee Day shall be appropriated to a religious service. I hope this part of our proceedings will be carried out as fully as possible, and that congregations of all denominations will assemble in their respective places of worship, so that the worship and thanksgiving mayascendfrom us as a people at one joint and united action.
