HAWKE'S BAT v. AUCKLAND [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Majjch (18. The interprovincial cricket match, Auokland v. Hawke's Bay, was commenced to-day. Hawke's Bay's first innings realised 125, the only double figures being H. B Liisk 50, C. H. Cato 18, G. Staite 13 and G. Marshall 13. Auckland's first innings produced only 78, the double figures being Kallender 22, Warren 19 and Willis 26. In Hawke's Bay's second innings, two wickets are down for 56 runs, H. B. Lusk being not out with 24. The play of both teams was indifferent. The Auckland team made a poor stand against the bowling of Pannin. Play will be resumed to-morrow morning.
