Horticultural Socikty. — The committee of the Christohurch Horticultural Society met on Wednesday evening, when the Son E. C. J. Stevens presided. Accounts in connection with the autumn show held last /week were passed for payment. Tho Secretary was instructed to convey the thanks of the committee to Mrs K. H. Rhodes, Miss Murray- A.ynsley, and all who sent plants or fruit for exhibition only. Mr J. Joyce wrote that as his exhibit in Class 28 was not quite in accordance with the schedule, he would withdraw his claim to the prize, and this was accepted with thanks. The meeting then terminated.
