'lie annual meeting of this- club- was he 3 last evening at- the volunteer orderlyroai. There was an attendance of fifteen, an-. Mr C. d'Auvergne (captain) presided. Tit report stated that the club had had a sucessful.year. The balance-sheet? showed recipts .£l2 3s 9d, and expenditure ,£l4 14s including a debit balancoof £& 8s 6d brought forward. The statement of assets anc liabilities showed a credit* of .£4 12» 9d. Eleven new members were. elected. Theofficers elected for the year were: — Patron, Mr A. Y. Hay ; president, the Mayor (Mr C. 1 Jennings) ; vice-presidents; Messrs J. Sareora, M. Scott and E. \Y. Eelph; captiin, Mr C. d'Auvergno; sub-captain, Mr H. Gulliver; secretary, Mr J. J. Wifeon ; treasurer, Mr W. Blackett ; committee, Messrs E. 'Walker, W. Efford, sen. H. Rule, B. d'Auvergne, G. Jor<an, C. Fraser and E. Reeve ; handicap>er, Mr J. O. Josling ; custodian, Mr H. Rule ; auditor, Mr J. Marshall. It wasrosolved that each member should pay sixjenco lor each evening's shooting, for whuh he will be entitled to nine rounds of immunition. A vote of thanks was accu'ded to the outgoing officers. Ie was decried to challenge the Cust Club. Votes of thanks were accorded to the donors of. pri:es, and to the handicapper, Mr J. O. Jos ing. The opening night was fixed for Maich 31.
