NEW BRIGHTON TROTTING CLUB.

Handicapper, Mr H. Brinkman ; starter, Mr C. O'Connor. There waa a large attendance on the concluding day, yesterday, of the New Brighton Trotting Club's meeting. The surface o£ the track was very loose in places, and not conducive to fast time, yet some of the performances "were distinctly meritorious, particularly that of Brookholm in the St Patrick's Handicap, of Home in the Avon Handicap, and of Berlin Abdallah in the Telegraph Handicap (in which Wildwood showed immense speed when he very tardily got fairly going). The totalisator . investments for the day amounted to .£3012 10a, making .£5070 10s for the meeting.
