DR ORPEN.
A telegram received from Auckland last night says there are no further developments in connection with the extradition from San Francisco of Dr Orpen. Detective Maddern, who was sent to San Francisco to bring the doctor back to Auckland, sends word by the mail which arrived yesterday that he expected to be detained about another month in the Californian capital.
