At a meeting of the trustees of the Wellington Hospital, on Monday, Mr EC. K& strongly urged that no tender for tho suttolv of meat should be accepted unU&uste^swere satisfied that the animals were killed in sanitary premises ; but as the trustees had pr actically « touted to accept the tender of a butcher whose premises were said to be * J^J*"*"* condition, the matter was allowed to arop.
