A lady, aged 101, is to be seen cycling about the streets of Boston, U.S.A. She boasts of having ridden every vehicle America has produced during the century — the stage-coach, the canal-boat, railway train, steamboat, and now the bicycle. Philatelists will be interested to learn that a special stamp was to be struck in commemoration of the- opening of the Buluwayo railway. It was only to be available for issue during the festivities, after which the plates were to be detroyed.
