Druids' Smoke Concert. — A special' smoke concert, under the auspices of the' Ivy of Linwood Lodge, was held in theHibernian Hall last evening. There was a full attendance, representatives from the various societies being present, and Mr Loughrey- occupied the chair. The opportunity was taken to maSte two presentations, one to Bro Ashton, for initiating the 1 largest number of members during the half-year, and the other to Bro Baker, both' taking the form of a framed emblem; During the evening songs were contributed by Messr3 T. Tankard. S. Clifford, C. Read, A. Miller, E. Bourdfitj A. Young, Alexander and D. Manson, solos by Messrs Bush, Tankard, Barnes and Poore, step dances by Messrs Miller and O'Connor and a ventriloquial entertainment by Mr F. J. Foley. The usual toasts were honoured, and the gathering broke up with the singing of " Auld Lang Syne." Certainly the best known medioino is Bander and Sou's Kuoalypti Ext/aot.
