FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the comnritfte& of the Linwood Football Club* was held in the club rooo*^ on Friday evening • present — Messrs Si. Orchard (in the cha-iv), E. M. Carr, F. H. Cowper, J. Daniels, A. H. Noall, F. O'Brien and E. J. Pegg.. Arrangements were made for the annual meeting, for more extensive accommodation! for members and for the annual matches, between the club's first and second fifteens and similar teams from the Union Club (Dunedin) at Christchurch a-t Easter. With regard to outstanding subscriptions, it was decided to deal firmly (under the Unclassified Societies Act) with all members in arrears with their subscriptions.
