SELWYN COUNTY COUNCIL.
The Selwyn Comnty Council met at 10.30 this morning, at their Gloucester Street offices; present — Messrs E. Westenra (chairman), W. Dunlop, J. Rennie, W. Boag, J. Wolf, F. G. Murray, G. .Rutherford; J. Gough and G. M'Haffie. A considerable amount of detail work in connection with water-races .' was dealt with. '.The inspector reported that the Kowai river was low. There was a good supply from the Waimakariri and Waiareka Rivers.
