A meeting of the executive of tha League of New Zealand Wheelmen was held last erening at the Clarendon Hotel; present — Messrs W. E. Thompson (chairman), C. 11. Cotton, G. Milne, W. G. Atack, R, L. Adams, A. E. Kirk and W. G. Williams. An apology for absence was received from . .Mr G. H. Letha'iy. The West Taieri and Gore Clubs were affiliated to the League. The Dunedin Cycling' Clu'/s programme for' a meeting on i'eb. 12 (was passed. Permit s were also granted to the New Brighton Gala Committee for Jan. 27 and to the Gore Club for Feb. 2. The Christchurch Club wrote drawing the executive's attention to the fact that a defaulting member of that club was now "'' an active member of the Linwood Club. It was decided to wiite and point out to the Linwood Club that the I eague's Rule 57 was being broken. Mr G. H. Lethaby forwarded », claim against the Christchurch Cycling Club for injuries sustained at the sports on Dec. 18 by a fall on account of overcrowding in the third heat of the Half-mile Handicap.
