THE GOVERNOR.
[Per Press Association.!. AUCKLAND, August 27. Yesterday, when driving from Onehunga to Auckland, the Governor made a brief stop at Epsom to receive a presentation from the Chinese residing there. They had ai*ranged a large bouquet, with a few words of welcome. The Governor has received a cablegram from the Premier congratulating him and Lady Ranfurly on their arrival in the colony, and expressing the kindest wishes for then* future happiness. His Excellency intends fating a driving tour through the Middle Island in January, in order to make himself acquainted with the country.
