THE PETONE MURDERS.
THE TRIAL OF BOSHEB. [P_r Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. The Petono murder trial again occupied the Court all day . Several witnesses were sxamined, but scarcely any new facts wero idduced. Henry Fleet, night watchman, ieposed that he passed Jones's house about 8 p.m. on the night of the murder, and saw the shadow of a tall man on a window blind. He also noticed that the back door was open dnring the night, and that a light was burning. James Ponhill said that ho passed Jones's about 7.15, and heard .Tones talking to Bosher at that hour. Margaret Davies, of the Salvation Army, said that Bosher arrived at the Barracks about 8.30 on the night of the murder. The trial probably will last over the week.
