AUCKLAND, Nov. 6. The Australian cricketers were accorded a splendid reception at tho Municipal buildings this morning. The speakers were the Mayor, Mr J.Holland, the Hons T. Thompson and W. Jennings, Messrs W. Crowther, H. Musgrove, G. H. S. Trott, A. Eady, G. Giffen and 0. R. Smith. The last-men-tioned said that the time had come when New Zealand should be represented in Australian cricket teams visiting England. He hoped that Captain Trott would during the tour through New Zealand look out for any man who might' be worthy of inclusion in the next team. The members of the team who spoke agreed with Mr Smith. There is fine weather for the match today. Donnan had to go on in the Mariposa yesterday.
