— • INTIMATIONS BY ADMIRAL BRIDGE. [Per Press Assooiation.J ADELAIDE Oct. 5. Admiral Bridge, in the course of an interview, said the Orlando would complete her commission at the end of 1897, and would probably be replaced by a ship carrying new armament. Five of the ships and one survey vessel on the Australian station would be recom missioned during the first half of next year, and most probably the relief crews for these uhips would be sent out in more than one cruiser. He believed that there were some new ships coming to the station, but if it were contemplated to replace the Ringarooma class by other cruisers he should regret it, for no class of cruiser in the British navy had proved more satisfactory than the Ringarooma.
