AUSTRALIAN AXEMEN'S ASSOCIATION.
TO THE EDITOE. Sir,— Under separate cover, I am sending you copies of the programme of our next grand exhibition of bushmen's skill, to be held at Delorainej Tasmania, on Nov. 25 and 26. The prizes are rich, and, as the ' Association is run on behalf of the axemen of Australasia, we are endeavouring to place all on a level by allowing those axemen from your colony to enter free of charge. As we (the axemen of Tasmania) are acting thus generously to those from your colony, I trust you will generously,, through the medium of your valuable paper, bring these terms under the notice' of New Zealand axemen.— l am, &c, H. A. NICHOLS. Ulverstone, Tasmania, August 26.
