ST ALBANS.
The polling for the election of three-, members of the St Albans Borough Council took place at the Borough Council Office. Mr W. P. Beatson acted as returningofficer. There were seven candidates, and the poll resulted as follows : — J. Penteney 311 . C. F. Money .:. 282 W. C. Hill ... 269 T. H. Davey 256 G. Simpson 177 W. J. Brooker 141 Maitland Gard'ner 86 Messrs Penteney, Money and Hill were declared duly elected.
