Durham Stbhet Wesletan Chubch.— A concert was given last night in the schoolroom in aid of furnishing the yonng men's new parlor. There was a large attendance, and encores were frequent. Songs were given by Miaa M. Buchanan, •' Heaven and Earth ;" Mies K. Orr, "La Serenata," with violin obligato ; Mias H. Wood, " The Shepherd's Cradle ;" Misa A. Gray, " The Promise of Life j" Mr S. M. Johnson, "Death of Nelson" and "My Pretty Jane;" Mr 8. M. Robinson, "Honour's Call 1 ' and "The Mighty Deep}" Mr Boot, " The Skippei i" Mr F. Turner, " Out oa the Deep." Duets were sung by Mieses H. Wood and C. Allen, «' The Winter Night," and Mrs Gray and Miss A. Gray, "At tbe Ferry." A recitation was given by Mr T. Asohman, "Road to Heaven." A piano kolo was played by Miss Gr. Coleman, a flute solo by Mr Rowley, and a violin solo by Mr Collier. The accompaniments were plnyod by Misses Deafein, Orr and Buobanaw.
